Forget Carmen. Forget oranges. Forget bullfighting. Seville is fast becoming famous as the city which is destroying the stereotypes that Spaniards either can’t or won’t become urban cyclists.
Over the past couple of years, Seville’s city council has been working to make Seville a bicycle-friendly city. It’s certainly got a lot going for it: it’s flat, doesn’t get much rain and, if you avoid the hottest hours of the day between May and September, consistent temperatures.
