THE SAAB – SALOMON WOMEN WILL
TRANS – IBERIAN EXPRESS FAQs
Where are we sleeping?
Thirty-three nights of sleeping away from home can get expensive, and not everyone likes to stay in the same kind of accommodation. In almost all of the places where we stay, we’ll give participants a list of the various hotel and camping options available along the route. (Campsites and youth hostels give us the most flexibility when it comes to accommodating groups, but we know that not everybody’s crazy about sleeping out under the stars.)
Does Salomon pay for our accommodation?
Each and every participant is responsible for reserving and paying for his or her own food and accommodation. Yes, that means the coordinator, too. But we WILL make group reservations in campsites and youth hostels for as many people as we know are coming at the end of January. You’ll still have to pay for your own sleeping arrangements and food but, with a little coordination, we can bring down the amount each person has to pay. Where possible, information sheets on the route will provide information about other accommodation alternatives, so don’t worry if you crave a night of creature comforts.
