TRANS – IBERIAN EXPRESS FAQs

Everyone is welcome to take part in the Trans-Iberian Express trip; the more people who take part, the greater presence cycling will have across Spain, and the more fun we’ll have! We’re delighted to have you along, and we know that you’ll have some questions about the trip before making the decision to take part.

Below is a compilation of the most common questions people have asked us about the Trans-Iberian. Please read the questions and responses carefully, and if you don’t see the answer to you question listed below, just drop us a line and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

So how many days does it take to cross Spain, anyway?
You could probably do the entire trip in ten to fifteen days, but we’re going to take thirty-three days, including three rest days in Haro (La Rioja – to get some winery visits in), Aranjuez (for those who’d like to take a day trip to Madrid) and Jaén (for those who want to stretch their legs a bit and hammer out some mountain riding).
